My journey to supervision
My path to becoming a supervisor spans over 35 years in education, including 15 years in secondary and 20 years in tertiary settings. This extensive experience has instilled in me a deep desire to work with individuals to resolve the challenges they face. I have a particular background in supporting adolescents within school environments.
I am passionate about helping others navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, and eating disorders across all generations. I am also very interested in and well-informed about men's issues. I have significant experience supervising both early career counsellors and those who are well-advanced in their professions, and I am keen to explore small group supervision options.

Unique experiences, valuable insights
Beyond my formal qualifications as an Australia registered counsellor and mental health practitioner with PACFA and AAoS, I bring a wealth of lived experience to my supervision practice. I have worked in diverse environments, including several overseas countries, which has broadened my perspective and enhanced my ability to understand and connect with a wide range of individuals and their unique challenges.
My life experiences allow me to offer a grounded, empathetic, and practical approach to supervision, providing a safe space for reflection, growth, and professional development.

Who benefits most from my supervision?
I particularly enjoy working with early career counsellors and those in mid-career who are looking to deepen their practice and navigate professional challenges. My supervision style provides a supportive yet challenging environment for growth.
I also have a strong interest in working with ministers of religion and pastoral workers, whether they are based in parishes or schools. My background in education and understanding of diverse environments makes me a valuable resource for those in these roles seeking clinical and pastoral supervision. My aim is to help you thrive in your important work.
