I am a member of the Catholic religious order Marist Brothers. In Australia and internationaly the Marist Brothers are invloved in education across a wide spectrum of serivces both within Catholic oganisatoins, ie schools, and social activities of youth welfare. and socialdevelopment.
I am in good standing with the Archdiocese of Brisbane.

My solid academic foundation
Roger Vallance's supervision services are underpinned by a robust academic history, including a BA (Hons), MEd, and PhD. This comprehensive educational background ensures a deep theoretical understanding and a research-informed approach to all supervisory practices.

Specialised counselling expertise
Beyond academic theory, Roger holds a Graduate Diploma in Counselling, Bachelor Psychology Studies and a Master of Clinical Counselling. He possesses certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), as well as numerous specialty short courses in eating disorders, suicidality and its prevention, men's mental health issues, compassion focussed therapy (CFT), anxiety, depression and adolescent counselling, providing a versatile and effective toolkit for supporting clients.
